About the Opportunity
We are representing a well-established and growing engineering business operating within the heat exchanger sector, supporting clients across oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, and power generation industries. Due to continued growth and significant investment in UK operations, the business is expanding its commercial team and is looking to appoint a senior, commercially focused Business Development Manager. This is a key strategic hire, offering the opportunity to play a central role in driving long‑term growth.
The Role
This is a business development‑led role, focused on identifying opportunities, building relationships, and securing new work across key industrial markets. The position is home‑based, with occasional travel across the UK to meet customers, attend site visits, and develop relationships. You will engage with major organisations and develop a pipeline of technically complex projects, working closely with internal teams to support delivery. This is not a trainee or development position; the business is looking for someone who can bring experience, credibility, and industry knowledge from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across target sectors

- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- An established network of industry contacts is highly desirable
- Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote role
