My client is a well-established engineering design-and-build business delivering complex, project-based engineered solutions. As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering technically demanding projects while ensuring customer satisfaction, commercial control, and operational excellence.
The Role:
- Leading and delivering engineering projects from order to completion
- Managing project programmes, milestones, and delivery schedules
- Owning customer experience and ensuring project performance guarantees are met
- Coordinating design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning activities
- Managing project risk, budgets, cost control, and cashflow
- Overseeing CDM, Health & Safety, CE / UKCA compliance
- Supporting Project Engineers and site teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Attending customer sites and leading project meetings
- Driving continuous improvement, standardisation, and value engineering
Minimum Skills / Experience Required:
- Proven experience working as a Project Manager within an engineering/manufacturing or construction
- Strong knowledge of project delivery, planning, and risk management
- Experience managing budgets, variations, and commercial performance
- Confident communicator with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
- Understanding of Health & Safety, CDM, and compliance requirements
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites
