My client is a well-established engineering design-and-build business delivering complex, project-based engineered solutions. As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering technically demanding projects while ensuring customer satisfaction, commercial control, and operational excellence.

The Role:

  • Leading and delivering engineering projects from order to completion
  • Managing project programmes, milestones, and delivery schedules
  • Owning customer experience and ensuring project performance guarantees are met
  • Coordinating design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning activities
  • Managing project risk, budgets, cost control, and cashflow
  • Overseeing CDM, Health & Safety, CE / UKCA compliance
  • Supporting Project Engineers and site teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Attending customer sites and leading project meetings
  • Driving continuous improvement, standardisation, and value engineering

Minimum Skills / Experience Required:

  • Proven experience working as a Project Manager within an engineering/manufacturing or construction
  • Strong knowledge of project delivery, planning, and risk management
  • Experience managing budgets, variations, and commercial performance
  • Confident communicator with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Understanding of Health & Safety, CDM, and compliance requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites
