MIG/TIG Welder /Fabricator Permanent Opportunity Paying up to £17 per hour. Permanent role based in Leicestershire, commutable from Beaumont Leys, Syston, Thurmaston, Loughborough and surrounding areas.
Our client is looking for a highly skilled experienced MIG and TIG welder/fabricator to join their expanding team. Interviewing immediately. Daytime hours Mon - Friday 0700 - 1600. Overtime paid at a premium.
Job Purpose:
- To report to the fabrication Supervisor
- TIG Welding stainless steel 1mm - 5mm
- MIG Welding up to 20mm Mild steel
- Fully skilled fabricator
- Read all engineering drawings
The TIG Welder:
- Ability to TIG Weld stainless steel 1mm - 5mm
- Ability to MIG weld up to 20mm
- Fitting experience an advantage but not essential
- Highly skilled apprentice trained fabricator who can read engineering drawings and cope with varied jobs and materials
- Rolling, tapping, grinding, and finishing work
- More than 3 years industry experience welding and fabricating stainless steel (desired but not essential)
- Candidate should be able to work on their own initiative.
