Are you a skilled CNC Turner with Mazak Setting or Programming experience? If yes, read on.... My client is an established precision engineering manufacturer based in Birmingham and commutable from Walsall, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Solihull and Tamworth. They are currently looking for a skilled CNC Turning Programmer or Setter to join their team.
The Role:
- CNC Mazak Setter - Set and Operate CNC Mazak Turning Machines
- Programming if experienced
- Adjusting offsets and making adjustments within programs
- Working on Mazatrol controls
- Working from drawings
- Quality control of components
- Maintaining machinery, removing swarf and routine oiling/greasing etc
- Carry out any other duties as required and deemed appropriate
- Complies with all Company rules including all Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements
Minimum Skills / Experience Required:
- CNC Turning Mazak Programmer - Experience of Setting and Operating Mazak Lathes
- CNC Turner on Mazatrol controls
- Programming experience is desirable
- Experience with Precision Engineering and working to tight tolerances
- Experience in the Aerospace industry is desirable
- Experience working from engineering drawings
- Able to quality check own parts
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a high level of quality standards achieved
- Motivated and excellent team player
The Package:
- Starting rate up to £20 per hour, dependent on experience
- Day Shifts
- Early finish Friday
- Pension
