Are you an experienced Stores Person within an engineering or industrial environment? If yes, read on.... My client is a specialist engineering firm providing engineering resources to the Power Industry, particularly within renewable energy. Due to continued growth and successful tenders, they are now looking for a skilled Stores Person/Keeper to support a major long-term project in North Wales.
This is a 12-month contract offering excellent earning potential, weekly pay and enhanced overtime during shutdown periods.
The Role - Stores Person:
- Booking goods in and goods out
- Updating and maintaining the Materials Management System
- Creating kits of parts for the engineering department
- Managing stock levels and materials control
- Working within a small store team
- Operating a Fork Lift Truck
- Supporting engineers with accurate and timely material supply
- Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30
- Friday 08:00 - 15:30
- Increased hours available during shutdown periods
- 39-hour minimum week
- Travel between the sites
Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Stores Person:
- Previous Stores Person experience
- Experience booking goods in and out
- IT literate
- Experience using Materials Management Systems
- Fork Lift Truck experience
- Available immediately
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
