Are you an experienced Stores Person within an engineering or industrial environment? If yes, read on.... My client is a specialist engineering firm providing engineering resources to the Power Industry, particularly within renewable energy. Due to continued growth and successful tenders, they are now looking for a skilled Stores Person/Keeper to support a major long-term project in North Wales.

This is a 12-month contract offering excellent earning potential, weekly pay and enhanced overtime during shutdown periods.

The Role - Stores Person:

  • Booking goods in and goods out
  • Updating and maintaining the Materials Management System
  • Creating kits of parts for the engineering department
  • Managing stock levels and materials control
  • Working within a small store team
  • Operating a Fork Lift Truck
  • Supporting engineers with accurate and timely material supply
  • Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30
  • Friday 08:00 - 15:30
  • Increased hours available during shutdown periods
  • 39-hour minimum week
  • Travel between the sites

Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Stores Person:

  • Previous Stores Person experience
  • Experience booking goods in and out
  • IT literate
  • Experience using Materials Management Systems
  • Fork Lift Truck experience
  • Available immediately
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
