My client is an established precision engineering manufacturer based in Birmingham and commutable from Walsall, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Solihull and Tamworth.
They are currently looking for a skilled CNC Turning Programmer or Setter to join their team.
The Role: CNC Mazak Setter
- - Set and Operate CNCMazak Turning Machines
- - Programming if experienced
- - Adjusting offsets and making adjustments within programs
- - Working on Mazatrol controls
- - Working from drawings
- - Quality control of components
- - Maintaining machinery, removing swarf and routine oiling/greasing etc
- - Carry out any other duties as required and deemed appropriate
- - Complies with all Company rules including all Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements
Minimum Skills / Experience Required: CNC Turning Mazak Programmer
- - Experience of Setting and Operating Mazak Lathes
- - CNC Turner on Mazatrol controls
- - Programming experience is desirable
- - Experience with Precision Engineering and working to tight tolerances
- - Experience in the Aerospace industry is desirable
- - Experience working from engineering drawings
- - Able to quality check own parts
- - Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a high level of quality standards achieved
- - Motivated and excellent team player
The Package: CNC Turner
- - Starting rate up to £20 per hour, dependent on experience
- - Day Shifts
- - Early finish Friday
- - Pension
- - 31 Days Holidays
