We’re recruiting for a well-organised fire & life safety business that looks after its engineers properly. This is a maintenance and fault-finding role – not endless install projects.

If you’re confident, fault-finding, understand BS5839, and want steady work with proper support behind you, this will suit.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing
  • Fire alarm PPMs and reactive fault-finding
  • Level 2 & Phase 2 reactive callouts
  • Working across commercial sites in and around Leeds
  • Participating in a structured call-out rota (not constant emergencies)
  • Managing your own stocked van to maximise first-time fixes
What This Role Is NOT
  • Not heavy installation work
  • Not a micromanaged environment
  • Not unrealistic response times
  • Not a disorganised call-out system
What You Need
  • Solid fire alarm maintenance & fault-finding experience
  • Knowledge of BS5839
  • Comfortable working alone in the field
  • Professional with customers
  • FIA units and additional certs are useful but not a deal breaker if you’ve got the hands-on experience.
