We’re recruiting for a well-organised fire & life safety business that looks after its engineers properly. This is a maintenance and fault-finding role – not endless install projects.
If you’re confident, fault-finding, understand BS5839, and want steady work with proper support behind you, this will suit.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing- Fire alarm PPMs and reactive fault-finding
- Level 2 & Phase 2 reactive callouts
- Working across commercial sites in and around Leeds
- Participating in a structured call-out rota (not constant emergencies)
- Managing your own stocked van to maximise first-time fixes
- Not heavy installation work
- Not a micromanaged environment
- Not unrealistic response times
- Not a disorganised call-out system
- Solid fire alarm maintenance & fault-finding experience
- Knowledge of BS5839
- Comfortable working alone in the field
- Professional with customers
- FIA units and additional certs are useful but not a deal breaker if you’ve got the hands-on experience.
