Precision for Medicine is growing and we are looking for a Sales Operations Specialist II to join our European team. The position can be covered fully remotely from the UK, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia or Romania.

Position Summary: The Sales Operations Specialist II plays a critical role in assisting the global Business Development team achieve our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The postholder will be responsible for engaging with the internal, and occasionally external team to ensure seamless transition of information. An attention to detail to aid client interactions is critical as is ensuring the data shared with other departments across Precision for Medicine is accurate and timely. The postholder will be responsible for the implementation and ongoing management of business development processes and delivery of reports to both internal and external audiences.

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

  • Management of new business development enquiries
  • Partners with Marketing to understand and leverage their initiatives/content for BD outreach efforts
  • Partners with Marketing and Sales Development to triage or nurture inbound leads where appropriate.
  • Helps coordinate sales territories and assist in the development of territory plans and a strategy with Sales Development partners to achieve new customer and revenue growth targets
  • Provide on-the-ground support for the BD team inclusive of tasks such as RFI completion, CDA coordination etc
  • Manages the tracking and management of all Clinical Solutions and Translational Sciences activity in Salesforce; manages the maintenance of all accounts, opportunity, contact and lead records in these systems for Clinical Solutions and Translational Sciences Opportunities
  • Identification of new process initiatives, driven through implementation and management of agreed processes
  • Partners with the Business Development team on meeting/event planning and management of travel to trade shows and other events as appropriate
  • Attends trades shows and other events as needed
  • Provides weekly report of BD success and communicate associated data to Executive Team

Qualifications:

Minimum Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or its international equivalent) + 2 yrs of related exp or +8 years’ experience working within a business development role in a CRO setting
  • High level of proficiency in the SalesForce application and associated reporting functionality

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly and concisely present information on calls and via email
  • Drive and determination to succeed as well as meet and exceed targets and quotas
  • Must be adaptable, professional and motivated and fully understand the sales cycle
  • Ability to listen and identify pain points and customer challenges
  • Ability to work under pressure, stay organized, multi-task, prioritize, manage time effectively and attend to administrative details in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain effective internal and external relationships

  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of Strategic Development processes and relevant Precision for Medicine SOPs and systems
  • Resolves project related problems and prioritizes workload to meet deadlines with support from management
  • Exhibits self-motivation, and is able to work independently and plan with minimal support and has the ability to work in a team environment
  • Focuses on continuous improvement, including the ability to make proactive assessments on how to make processes more efficient
  • Demonstrates a solid degree of professionalism, as evidenced by punctuality, ability to deliver on commitments, possess good interpersonal skills and maintain positive interactions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicates both verbally and in written form in a professional manner
  • Possesses strong competency with and knowledge of IT tools and systems in use on project team including fluency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook
