Are you looking to work with a dynamic team of industry‑leading professionals in the HEOR space? Are you passionate about keeping complex, evidence‑driven projects running smoothly and delivered to the highest standard? Our Evidence Synthesis & Decision Modelling team at Precision AQ is hiring a Project / Portfolio Manager to support global HEOR programmes, with a particular focus on Joint Clinical Assessment (JCA) submissions, systematic literature reviews, statistical analyses, and economic models. This is a highly visible, client‑facing role, partnering with senior scientific leaders to ensure projects are well‑planned, well‑run, and delivered on time and to expectation.

About You:

You are an experienced project or portfolio manager with a strong understanding of HEOR‑related deliverables and consulting environments. You thrive in coordinating complex, multi‑workstream projects and enjoy working closely with both internal teams and external clients. You have experience managing timelines and workloads across multiple concurrent projects, translating high‑level objectives into clear, actionable plans, and proactively identifying and resolving risks to delivery. You are confident interacting with clients, supporting project governance, leading project management discussions, and acting as a trusted point of contact for organisation, planning, and progress tracking. You are detail‑oriented, highly organised, and comfortable working with scientific and technical teams delivering literature reviews, quantitative analyses, and economic models.

About the Role:

As a Project / Portfolio Manager within the Evidence Synthesis & Decision Modelling team, you will work closely with scientific project leads (e.g., Directors, VPs) and cross‑functional contributors across evidence synthesis, statistics, and health economic modelling. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end project management, including planning, resourcing, timeline development, progress tracking, risk management, and delivery oversight across individual projects and portfolios of work (particularly JCA programmes). On client‑facing projects, you will support or lead project management discussions, prepare and maintain project plans, timelines, and reports, and ensure clear communication of status, risks, dependencies, and actions. This will involve monitoring scope changes and managing change order processes, clearly documenting impacts on timelines, resources, and budgets. You will ensure projects run smoothly by coordinating internal workflows, facilitating alignment across disciplines, documenting decisions and actions, and supporting monitoring and evaluation of agreed processes and milestones. This will involve coordination of both internal/external review cycle timelines and collating feedback from various external reviewers. You will play a key role in ensuring on‑time delivery, supporting financial and scope tracking, and escalating risks or resourcing issues early to project leadership. You will work with clients to maintain an organized repository of deliverables. You will support strategic portfolio oversight and prioritization, working with senior leadership to balance competing demands, optimize resource allocation, and align project execution with broader organizational and client objectives. You will develop and maintain standardized project management tools and templates, ensuring best practices are applied consistently across projects and teams. This will also involve facilitating cross-project knowledge sharing and lessons learned, helping to improve delivery quality and inform future study design and execution. Where possible, you will leverage project management tools and data to generate insights, enabling data-driven decision-making and transparent reporting for internal stakeholders and clients. Where required, you will also support proposal development and study start‑up activities, including timeline development.

Required Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in project or portfolio management, preferably within consulting, life sciences, HEOR, market access, or related environments
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi‑disciplinary projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience working in a client‑facing role, supporting or leading project management communications
  • Strong organisational, planning, and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with project tracking tools is an advantage
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative, cross‑functional team

Helpful Experience:

  • Experience supporting HEOR, evidence synthesis, health economics, modelling, or market access projects
  • Familiarity with JCA submissions, HTA processes, or global evidence strategy programmes
  • Experience coordinating work delivered by statisticians, health economists, and systematic review teams
  • Awareness of project financials, resourcing constraints, and scope management
  • A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
