Job description:
We are currently hiring reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a full-time tramping position. This role is ideal for professionals who value routine, safety, and high standards of service. You will be representing a company that focuses on fairness, efficiency, and long-term driver development.
Our company has recently rebuilt its pay structure. We are now seeking experienced drivers who are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and strong communication.
What We Offer:
Competitive Pay Rates: Starting at £15.50/hour with a clear progression plan in place to reach £17.50
Overtime & Premium Pay:
Overtime after 12 hours (MonFri): £20.00/hour
Saturday: £20.00/hour
Sunday & Bank Holidays: £25.00/hour
Average Weekly Hours: Drivers typically work between 55 to 65 hours per week
Tramping Allowance: £26.20/night out (tax-free)
Weekly Driving Bonus: Earn £0.25/hour extra each week if your vehicle meets fuel-efficiency targets
Holiday Entitlement: Statutory paid holidays plus 1 extra day per year of service, capped at 7 days
Weekly Pay: Paid weekly, with one week held in hand
Fully Equipped Vehicles: Your truck will be fitted with a fridge and microwave, and it will be thoroughly cleaned before being assigned to you, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic working environment.

- Daily vehicle walkaround checks and good vehicle care
- Willingness to tramp Monday to Friday, with some weekend availability
- Adherence to all safety and compliance procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience with HGV Class 1
- Right to work in the UK
- Previous tramping experience preferred
- Clean licence preferred (maximum 6 penalty points accepted)
- No DR10, IN10, or other major driving offences
