Package and Benefits Annual salary up to £44,000 Annual bonus incentive scheme Car allowance of £5,400 Company pension Private medical insurance NMC/RCN fees reimbursed Career progression opportunities Role Responsibilities Deliver high-quality care to improve patient outcomes in line with Diabetes guidelines Identify and optimize care for patients with sub-optimally controlled Type 2 diabetes Conduct point-of-care testing and refer for specialist insulin treatment as needed Provide education, support, and advice to patients with Type 2 Diabetes Fulfill corporate nursing responsibilities and contribute to a proactive care approach Candidate Requirements A Diabetes diploma or equivalent EN qualification At least 3 years of post-registration experience managing diabetes in primary care Strong knowledge and confidence in educating and advising Type 2 Diabetes patients Skills in optimizing oral hypoglycaemics A full driving license and current NMC registration IT literacy, including primary care systems If you are a Practice Nurse, Diabetes Specialist Nurse, Diabetes Nurse Advisor, Diabetes Educator, Endocrinology Nurse, or Diabetes Care Specialist, this role could be ideal for you.
