The Company is the Holding Company for a Group of Engineering Companies. This role will provide support to both trading Companies within the Group β Fox-VPS Ltd (Camberley) and Precision Aluminium Casting & Engineering Ltd (Southampton).
You will be computer literate, diligent, with a proactive attitude and a desire to develop professionally. You will be an integral member of the business, and your professionalism and commitment will be essential in assisting us to continue to grow as a business.
The role will be hybrid working with at least 1 day in the office, Southampton or Camberley.
The hours will consist of 39 hours, working 8.5 hours Mon β Thurs and 5 hours on a Friday.
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Posting Purchase Ledger invoices into the MRP system matching them off against GRNβs (c75 a day)
- Keeping on top of invoice queries with the operations teams
- Making ad-hoc payments to proforma suppliers or suppliers if requested outside of the payment run timelines
- Communicating with suppliers through emails and telephone
- Running the sales invoices
- Continuous improvement of the processes
Required Skills:
- Experience within the manufacturing industry as a purchase ledger clerk for a minimum of 3 years
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently
