Overview
Precisely’s Summer Internship Program is a paid, part-time opportunity for undergraduate students actively enrolled in university. This is a 10 week program that begins June 30th and concludes September 11th. The Cloud Engineering Intern will work closely with the Cloud and Customer Operations team. The intern will support the deployment of our cloud platforms, while improving and automating the operational processes that ensure sustainability and stability of all our online applications. This role will support the maintenance of the automated release, change, deployment, application support and incident processes that will enable your team to manage and sustain the production environment and also resolve incidents and issues that arise in customer environments in a 24 x 7 environment.
What you will do
- Be responsible for supporting application and infrastructure in hosting solutions for customers.
- Work towards discovering standard cloud services offerings, install, and execute processes and standards for optimal use of cloud service provider offerings.
- Be responsible for documenting all issues and writing SOPs.
- Be responsible for supporting requests from the internal engineering team related to Cloud Platform.
What we are looking for
- Knowledge of application and infrastructure support.
- Knowledge of any scripting language and writing automation scripts for infrastructure.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and building development environments.
- Knowledge of any automation pipeline tool like Terraform, Jenkins etc.
Preferred requirements
- Knowledge of Public Cloud like AWS, Azure etc.
- Knowledge of Windows server and Linux server-based hosting solutions.
