Sawman – PVC/uPVC or Aluminium Experience
Location: Walsall, West Midlands
Pay: Upto £16.50 per hour
Hours: Monday- Friday 7-30am- 3pm Monday-Thursday Friday 7.30-1pm
Contract: Full Time
Precise Recruitment Services is recruiting an experienced Sawman for a window and door manufacturing company based in Bloxwich.
We are looking for someone with experience cutting PVC/uPVC or aluminium profiles who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
Key responsibilities
- Operate production saws safely to cut profiles to the required lengths and angles.
- Read cutting lists, measurements and production instructions.
- Check dimensions and cut quality before passing materials to fabrication.
- Identify and report material defects or machinery issues.
- Organise cut components and minimise material waste.
- Keep the work area clean and follow health and safety procedures.
What we are looking for
- Previous experience as a Sawman or saw operator working with PVC/uPVC or aluminium.
- Ability to read cutting lists and measure accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and a practical approach.
- Reliability and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. xgikmsk
