We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to cover Wolverhampton and surrounding areas. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of up to £50,000 per annum, with a company van provided.
The Role: You will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire and security systems across commercial and residential sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems
- Installation and maintenance of intruder alarm systems
- Installation and maintenance of access control systems
- Installation and maintenance of CCTV systems
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Carrying out routine testing and compliance checks
- Completing job reports and certification
- Working in line with British Standards (including BS5839)
- Providing a professional service to customers on site
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fire Alarm / Fire & Security Engineer
- Strong knowledge of:
- Fire alarms
- Intruder alarms
- Access control
- CCTV
- Experience in both installation and maintenance
- Ability to work independently
- Full UK driving licence
- Must have own tools (no tools provided)
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
Package:
- Salary up to £50,000 per annum
