Delivery Analyst (Agile/Business Applications)

We are supporting a forward-thinking professional services organisation as they continue to invest in their technology and delivery capabilities. As part of this growth, they are looking to hire a Delivery Analyst to play a key role in connecting business needs with technical delivery.

The Role

/n

As a Delivery Analyst, you will act as the connective tissue between business stakeholders and the Applications team-taking ideas and requests, shaping them into clear deliverables, and guiding them through to release.

/n

You will be responsible for managing demand, refining requirements, running agile processes, and ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet user needs. Initially, you will focus on a Business Applications team, with scope to expand your impact across a wider technology function over time.

Key Responsibilities

/n

Shape the Work

/n

/n
- Act as the first point of contact for incoming requests from across the business
/n
- Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into clear user stories
/n
- Define acceptance criteria and capture both functional and non-functional requirements
/n
- Manage and prioritise the backlog in collaboration with key stakeholders
/n

/n

Run the Work

/n

/n
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
/n
- Coordinate dependencies across multiple teams
/n
- Track delivery progress using metrics such as velocity and sprint health
/n
- Manage risks, issues, and blockers, ensuring clear communication throughout
/n
- Utilise tools such as Azure DevOps (or similar)
/n

/n

Land the Work

/n

/n
- Coordinate and manage user acceptance testing (UAT)
/n
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle
/n
- Support release planning, user communications, and post-release activities
/n
- Promote a minimum loveable product mindset, focusing on delivering real user value
/n

/n

About You

/n

/n
- 2-4 years' experience in delivery, business analysis, product, or scrum-related roles
/n
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience supporting sprint delivery
/n
- Skilled in writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria
/n
- Experience coordinating UAT and working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
/n
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate between business and technical teams
/n
- Strong organisational skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
/n

/n

Desirable:

/n

/n
- Agile or business analysis certifications (eg Scrum, PSM, CSM, SAFe, BCS)
/n
- Experience within professional services or similar environments
/n
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar platforms
/n
