Our global law firm client is currently looking to take on a new Software Developer (Front End, VUE, REACT, .NET, RESTFUL, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript) on a permanent basis. This person will be a Front End Champion ideally with a strong full stack background. This role will be architecting and building Front End applications and to own projects in collaboration with the team's UX Designer.
To be considered for this Software Developer role, it's ideal you have:
- A strong Full-stack background with a Front End focus.
- Strength in a modern Front End framework, ideally React or VUE.
- Strong HTML5 and CSS experience and CSS preprocessors.
- Familiarity with RESTFUL API.
Job Duties:
- Collaborate closely with the existing team of developers and UX Designer to design, build, test, deploy, and maintain modern, scalable software solutions that support and enhance critical business processes.
- Contribute to the delivery of high-quality applications within an Agile framework, supporting the team's evolution toward a DevOps and automation-focused culture.
- Work alongside business analysts, project managers, scrum masters, and stakeholders to analyse, clarify, and refine requirements, ensuring technical solutions meet business needs.
- Create and maintain clear, concise documentation for both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, supporting effective knowledge sharing and system understanding.
- Actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies, contributing ideas and updates to promote team progress and transparency.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies, tools, and development practices across various industries—not just Legal—and proactively introduce innovative ideas and improvements to the team.
