The Marketing Engineer is a senior individual contributor who leads innovation for SEO, AEO, and CRO strategies. The role uses AI‑native tools to turn experimental ideas into automated, execution‑ready workflows that deliver consistent, scalable results for clients. It sits at the intersection of marketing strategy and technical execution, designing complex systems such as autonomous agents and wrapping them in user‑friendly interfaces. The engineer collaborates with strategists, specialists, and the technical team to replace manual tasks with automated efficiency.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead the development roadmap: own the technical product roadmap, prioritise team and client ideas based on commercial ROI, and drive advanced marketing automation projects by designing backend data pipelines and multi‑node agent frameworks.
  • Deploy automated workflows: use AI‑native tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Google AI Studio) to convert experimental ideas into stable, automated workflows, manage version control in GitHub, and connect solutions via Google Cloud integrations and APIs.
  • Track shifts and updates: monitor industry news and updates to Google search algorithms and LLM behaviour to quickly adapt internal processes, keeping strategies ahead of the curve and helping clients win within search.
  • Drive commercial impact: act as the senior technical lead on key accounts, participate in sales calls and client presentations to showcase advanced capabilities, mentor mid‑level specialists, and demonstrate how automated workflows add value.

What We Are Looking For

  • AI‑assisted development and tooling: proficiency with AI‑native development environments (Google AI Studio, Cursor, Claude Code, MCPs) and platforms such as Profound, Peec, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog to build and iterate marketing workflows.
  • Cloud, data, and API integration: experience working with web APIs (especially Google APIs and SERP scraping providers), managing GitHub repositories, and securely deploying solutions using Google Cloud integrations.
  • Systems architecture and autonomous delivery: deep experience connecting strategic marketing with technical execution by designing, testing, and maintaining stable, automated systems and data workflows.
  • Commercial awareness and prioritisation: strong business mindset with the ability to prioritise operational efficiency, stability, and clear value over experimental novelty.
  • Technical communication: skill in translating complex processes or algorithmic shifts into plain, high‑impact actions for stakeholders and clients.

What We Offer

  • Transparent salary setting, level 4 within the Media, Client & SEO/CRO column.
  • An intense learning environment to grow skills alongside industry experts.
  • A culture built on collaboration, trust, and innovation with regular team events.
  • 30 days paid leave, flexible public holidays, parental pay, pension scheme, key insurance, and office perks such as massage, health care contributions, free book orders, healthy snacks, great coffee, EAP programs, and choice of PC or Mac.
  • A diverse environment with high focus on inclusion and belonging; 46 native languages spoken.

We are committed to building an inclusive and fair workplace that attracts talent and advances its people regardless of background, experience, or perspective.
