The SEO & AEO Specialist plays a pivotal role within the SEO & CRO Solutions Group by enhancing the execution and tactics of SEO & AEO activities. This position requires a proactive approach to driving organic performance by utilising data‑driven insights to inform tactical decisions aimed at achieving the overall client objectives. The SEO & AEO Specialist is expected to work with a degree of autonomy while fostering close collaboration with team members to streamline efforts and optimise overall performance and efficiency.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Independently execute and optimise SEO & AEO tactics, ensuring they are aligned with the set strategic direction.
  • Handle day‑to‑day operational tasks, including analysis, optimisation, and reporting, to ensure high‑quality execution and optimal organic performance in standard search and search generative experiences.
  • Extract and analyse data to uncover trends and insights that can guide tactical decisions and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Conduct in‑depth SEO & AEO analysis and audits to identify opportunities for improving brand strength and performance metrics.
  • Implement testing initiatives, analyse results, and make optimisation recommendations to improve organic performance.
  • Provide clients with concise, actionable recommendations based on data‑driven insights, guiding strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with other Solution Groups to action learnings into the overall success of client experience and delivery.
  • Proactively contribute to the overall growth of the SEO & AEO business.

What We Are Looking For

  • Solid understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem, with the ability to operationally navigate all three pillars of SEO (Technical, Content & Authority) as well as AI generated search.
  • Comprehensive hands‑on experience and knowledge in using SEO & AEO tools & platforms (e.g. Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar) to tailor SEO & AEO strategies for brand and performance objectives.
  • Technical acumen to identify, mitigate and resolve SEO‑related issues, ensuring smooth execution of SEO & AEO activities.
  • Strong capability to analyse performance data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights to enhance SEO & AEO efforts.
  • Capability to design and implement roadmaps to achieve client goals and correlated targets, as well as showcase untapped opportunities within SEO and CRO.
  • Ability to develop hypotheses and conduct tests to inform continuous improvement practices.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with clients on operational aspects and contributing to strategic conversations.
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g. LookerStudio) and ability to present insights in an engaging and understandable manner.
  • In addition to specialisation in SEO & AEO, be comfortable with CRO & UX fundamentals and how these work together to impact total website performance.
