Contract: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

Essential: Experience in an Autism Support setting and managing challenging behaviour is essential.
Shifts: Day shifts 7.30am & 3pm, 2.30-10pm including weekend work.
This service supports adults with behaviours that may be of concern, so experience in this area is essential.
Service: Vermont House is a bespoke Residential Service designed to support up to six autistic adults, or those with learning disabilities and associated needs, to develop the skills and confidence necessary to lead a more independent life.

Support Worker duties:
- Supporting residents to develop independence and life skills.
- Assisting people to achieve daily goals & daily activities such as arts, crafts, hobbies.
- Assisting with the development of person-centred plans for our residents, including employment, education and other opportunities.
- Maintaining records and drawing up risk assessments.
- Providing personal care where needed, always working towards more independence.
- Supporting people in undertaking daily activities or development.
