Salary: £36,940.80 (with optional paid overtime)

Successful candidate must have held a full UK car licence for a minimum of two years with no more than 3 points to be able to drive the company vehicle.

Purpose
This role is key to the delivery of a professional and highly reactive repairs service that our people we support can feel satisfied with. This role will be required to carry out any repairs and remedy any defects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Undertake all routine maintenance tasks, minor general repairs, Planned Preventative Maintenance and cyclical works.
- Purchase and collection of consumables and control of maintenance stock.
- Provide a specification of works, with timeframes and an estimated cost where required.
- Liaise with trades and contractors to carry out, providing quotes for approval where needed.
- Report any hazards or potential hazards.
- Able to be called upon during out of normal working hours when required in an emergency only.
- Provide all receipts and purchase orders while keeping track of balance of funds and reporting appropriately.
- Use a PDA to accept jobs, plan and update on progression and sign off works when completed for inspection.
- Attend any training as required.
- Ensure that vehicles and any other modes of transport are maintained to a high level of cleanliness.
