Job title: Experienced Autism Support Worker (nights)

Location: Sutton Coldfield

Salary: £12.31 Per hour

Contract: Permanent, 20 hours per week

Shifts: 9.45pm until 7.30am, including some weekends

Service

Vermont House is a bespoke Residential Service supporting up to six autistic adults or individuals with learning disabilities and related needs, helping them develop skills and confidence for greater independence.

Support Worker Responsibilities

  • Supporting residents in developing independence and life skills.
  • Assisting with daily goals, activities such as arts, crafts, and hobbies.
  • Contributing to person-centred plans, including employment, education, and other opportunities.
  • Maintaining records and risk assessments.
  • Providing personal care with an aim towards increased independence.
  • Supporting daily activities and developmental goals.
