Precious Homes is looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead our Robins View service in Kings Heath, supporting adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and Mental Health needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and experienced social care leader who is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support and achieving positive outcomes for the people we support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day running of the service.
  • Manage staffing rotas and ensure safe staffing levels.
  • Participate in the management on-call rota.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop a team of support staff.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (MDTs), commissioners, healthcare professionals, and families.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs).
  • Apply and oversee best practice relating to the Mental Capacity Act (MCA), DoLS, safeguarding, and risk management.
  • Monitor service quality through audits, reviews, and continuous improvement plans.
  • Support recruitment, induction, and performance management processes.
  • Promote a positive culture focused on dignity, respect, independence, and person-centred care.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Service Manager, Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or similar leadership role within adult social care.
  • Experience supporting individuals with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and Mental Health needs.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, KLOEs, MCA, DoLS, and safeguarding.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with families, professionals, and stakeholders.
  • Flexible approach and willingness to participate in an on-call rota.
