The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Full-time and part-time roles available. Shift times are 06:45-19:15 or half days. A night enhancement of £1.50 per hour will apply from 8pm to 7am Monday – Sunday (this does not apply to sleep-ins). A weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour will be paid from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday.
Fryers House, in the market town of Romsey, is home for 24 adults with physical disabilities. This service is rated Good by CQC. We are amongst the highest rated providers of care and supported living services in the UK, with 84% of our services rated ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ by regulators.
As a Registered Nurse with Leonard Cheshire, you will be responsible and accountable for providing the highest standards of nursing, clinical and personal support to our customers as outlined in Person Centred Plans. You will order and administer medication, ensure safe storage and record all information in accordance with internal procedures and NMC guidelines. Effectively leading a team of support staff, you will ensure the smooth and efficient management of the shift. You will prioritise and plan, delegating relevant activities for the support team, ensuring the needs of our customers are met within a safe and caring environment. You will support ongoing assessments, observing any changes in health and well-being. You will ensure that records are maintained in a timely way and support customers with physical care, personal hygiene needs and daily tasks.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
- A thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
- An understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance.
- Effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
- Flexibility to work rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
