Preci-Spark is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our busy and experienced team. As a Project Engineer within our team, you will play a crucial role in introducing and managing new projects, while also contributing to existing ones. Your previous experience with CAD/CAM software will be highly valued as you will be responsible for delivering optimised manufacturing processes.

Requirements:
- Engineering Degree (Mechanical Design or Aerospace preferable)
- 5 years’ experience within an engineering role
- Experience in CAD/CAM (Siemens NX preferable)
- Experience of creating engineering drawings (incl. GDT)
- Understanding of project management techniques and tools
- Experience of working with core quality tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively
- Be an effective communicator when interacting with colleagues and customers
- To always work in a professional manner
- Full UK driving licence (role will involve some travel between sites)
- Health, Safety and Environment compliance
- Upon a successful interview, Preci-Spark’s application process requests that a basic criminal record check will be carried out
The role:
- Introduction of new products (NPI), working to both ISO, AS and company standards and procedures
- Being able to work independently on projects with support from the wider team
- Design of manufacturing process plans and works instructions
- Design of jigs and fixtures
- Offline programming of CNC machines including milling, turning, mill-turn, lasers and WEDM machining centres
- Producing high quality technical drawings for use both internally and externally (for customers or sub-contractors)
