A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our existing team of engineers at our facility.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be working closely with Section Leaders, Production Operatives, Project Engineers, and Quality Engineers, reporting directly to the Engineering Management and ultimately the Company Directors. This role includes aerospace manufacturing activities with a strong emphasis on fabrication, metal forming, machining, and production problem-solving, from New Product Introduction through to full-rate production.

The Manufacturing Engineer will be involved with:

  • Providing hands-on engineering support on the shop floor for metal forming and machining operations.
  • Supporting New Product Introduction by developing practical, robust manufacturing methods for aerospace components.
  • Creating and maintaining manufacturing documentation including method statements, routings, work instructions, and setup sheets.
  • Defining, introducing, and proving tooling, jigs, fixtures, and gauges to support production.
  • Supporting first-off, first article, and production readiness activities alongside Quality and Production teams.
  • Troubleshooting manufacturing issues on the shop floor and leading root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Ensuring manufacturing processes meet customer drawings, specifications, and aerospace standards.
  • Driving continuous improvement activities to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Actively supporting Health, Safety and Environment compliance across all shop floor activities.
