Stability, growth and opportunity at Preci-Spark. Preci-Spark are looking to recruit a skilled CMM Inspector/Programmer to join our existing team of CMM programmers/inspectors in our Coalville factory.

What the company will offer:

  • £16.00 per hour
  • Monthly productivity bonus
  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
  • Rotating Shifts (37 hours): Mon to Weds 6.00am to 2.00pm – 2.00pm to 10.00pm, Thurs 6.00am to 1.00pm – 1.00pm to 8.00pm, Fri 6.00am to 12.00pm – 12.00pm to 06.00pm
  • Overtime availability

Requirements for the position:

  • Experience of programming and operating Mitutoyo/PC-Dmis/OGP CMM
  • Excellent understanding of drawings, dimensions and tolerancing
  • A minimum of two years' experience in programming complex geometry
  • Must be able to work on your own initiative in a busy engineering environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience of working in the Aerospace industry would be an advantage but not essential
  • Health, Safety and Environment compliance
  • Upon a successful interview, Preci-Spark's application process requests that a basic criminal record may be carried out

The Role:

  • Responsible for the set up and completion of work carried out on the CMM & Multi Sensor CMM
  • Use inspection tools such as shadow graphs, vernier callipers and micrometres
  • Carry out Manual & Visual inspection of components to customer requirements
  • Using MCOSMOS, PC-Dmis & OGP software, you will be required to program these machines, set the datums and conduct the inspection compiling all relevant documentation such as First Article Inspection Reports
