This welcoming, well-established manufacturing company on the outskirts of Nottingham is looking for a proactive Production Operative to join their production team. You will gain exposure to a wide variety of tasks, work with supportive colleagues and enjoy being part of a business with outstanding employee engagement and long-service awards across the team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working across production areas – machine minding, secondary operations, packing, assembling and more
- Using EFACS/ERP (or similar systems) to book labour and update records
- Carrying out stock taking and updating spreadsheets
- Inputting data with accuracy and attention to detail
- Reporting hazards or near-misses using iAuditor
- Suggesting improvements and supporting continuous improvement activities
- Following production processes, quality standards, GMP/GDP and good housekeeping
- Taking part in training to build your skills and knowledge
- Representing company values and contributing positively to the team
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a machine operative role
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable using computers or handheld devices
- Accurate written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work to processes
- Dexterity and confidence in hands-on work
- Basic mechanical skills (advantageous)
- Experience with EFACS or similar ERP systems (advantageous)

Working Hours:
- Standard Hours: Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 15:30
- Friday: 07:00 – 12:30
- Shift Rotation (every 4–6 weeks): Afternoons: Mon–Thu: 14:00 – 22:30, Fri: 11:00 – 16:30
