Why You’ll Love This Role

This is not a routine month-end job. You’ll be working across dual sites, building relationships with production, engineering, sales and NPI teams. You’ll gain exposure to every major pillar of management accounting and commercial finance, with a clear pathway to becoming a Finance Business Partner. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Financial Insight & Management Accounts: Produce and analyse management information that supports informed business decisions; Prepare monthly management accounts and contribute to Group reporting.
  • Costings & Manufacturing Finance: Prepare work centre cost rates and support stock valuations; Review volume and margin variances, helping teams understand cost drivers.
  • Margin Review & Partnering with Sales/NPI: Analyse product margins and pricing, providing recommendations for improvement; Collaborate with Sales and NPI to understand product performance and profitability.
  • Capex Appraisal & Project Support: Analyse capital projects, model future cashflows and provide go/no-go recommendations; Track ongoing capex spend against budget; Support post-project reviews to improve future investment decisions.
  • Forecasting, Budgeting & Cashflow: Contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting cycles; Review margins and variances each month to enhance forecast accuracy; Support balance sheet reviews and cashflow projections.

What We’re Looking For

You Are:

  • AAT qualified AND part-qualified/finalist in CIMA, ACCA or ACA.
  • Curious, proactive, and confident working with people across the business.
  • Keen to understand manufacturing processes and how operations drive the numbers.
  • Strong in analysis with excellent Excel and MS Office skills.

You Have:

  • Experience in management accounting, cost analysis or business partnering ideally in manufacturing environments.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with stakeholders.
  • Experience with ERP systems (EFACS or similar is a bonus).
  • A passion for continuous improvement and operational understanding.
