Due to continued growth and increased demand for our services, Precedo Healthcare is recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants to provide dedicated one-to-one support to service users in the LS10 area of Leeds.

This is a hands-on, relationship-led role where consistency, reliability, and attention to detail make a real difference to the individuals you support.

What you’ll be doing

  • Your shift will be focused on providing consistent, hands-on support to individuals in their own homes or care settings.
  • You’ll help with personal care routines, ensuring each person starts and ends their day safely, comfortably, and with dignity.
  • Throughout your shift, you’ll support daily living needs such as meal preparation, assisting with feeding where required, and encouraging participation in activities that support wellbeing and independence.
  • You’ll monitor each individual’s condition closely, respond to any changes appropriately, and maintain clear, accurate records, including updates to care plans.
  • You’ll also work closely with GPs, healthcare professionals, and family members to ensure care remains coordinated and responsive to each person’s needs.
  • In some situations, you may need to use de-escalation and diversion techniques to help maintain a calm, safe, and supportive environment.

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 6 months’ experience in a similar care role (within the last 2 years)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A calm, caring, and dependable approach
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred but not essential
