We have a variety of hours available on a rota basis and occasional respite. Precedo Healthcare are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and compassionate to join our highly trained team in Liversedge.
We provide care and support to a young lady living in her own home with family support who has high level learning difficulties, limited verbal communication, and often displays extreme challenging behaviour including elements of self-injury. Previous experience working with similar clients is essential as well as an understanding of positive behaviour support; you will receive full training and induction support.
Duties include:
- Working towards person centred care plans
- Using a low demand approach
- De-escalation techniques and role play
- Assisting with daily activities and outings/appointments
- Ensuring excellent documentation and record keeping is maintained
- Personal care including continence care may be required
Successful candidates will have previous UK paid experience of at least six months within the last two years within a similar healthcare setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract - Shifts are typically Monday-Sunday 9am-4pm, weekend on weekend off. Client does have respite every month; shifts are then 12 hour days 9am-9pm.
Pay: From £12.60 per hour weekdays, £13.00 weekends.
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week.
