A welcoming and inclusive Primary School located in Ealing Broadway is seeking an EYFS SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team. The role involves supporting children within an Early Years setting who have additional needs, including pupils who may be non-verbal or require higher levels of support.
EYFS SEND Teaching Assistant – The Role- Supporting children with SEND within Nursery or Reception
- Working 1:1 and in small groups
- Supporting communication, engagement and play‑based learning
- Using sensory and Early Years approaches to support development
- Working closely with teachers, SEN staff and families
- Experienced EYFS Teaching Assistants
- SEND TAs with Early Years experience
- Support staff experienced supporting non‑verbal pupils
- Individuals with a nurturing and patient approach
- Experience working within EYFS
- Experience supporting children with additional needs
- Understanding of play‑based and sensory learning approaches
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
