Role Summary
The Contract Manager at PREAH Building Services plays a pivotal role within the Facilities Management division, responsible for the oversight, performance, and compliance of all FM-related contracts. This position ensures service excellence across client portfolios, managing contract delivery, supplier performance, and stakeholder engagement. The Contract Manager ensures that contractual obligations are met with precision, while supporting business growth and maintaining PREAH’s commitment to high standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
Core Responsibilities
Contract Management
- Oversee the execution and administration of Facilities Management contracts, ensuring all deliverables, KPIs, and SLAs are consistently met.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients on contract matters, ensuring clarity, responsiveness, and proactive communication.
- Monitor contract lifecycle from mobilisation to renewal or termination, managing any variations, extensions, or disputes.
- Ensure contractual compliance with legal, financial, and regulatory obligations.
Service Delivery and Performance
- Manage daily service operations, coordinating with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure effective delivery across all sites.
- Regularly assess performance against agreed targets, implementing corrective actions and service improvements where necessary.
- Conduct site audits, reviews, and client meetings to ensure quality and consistency of service delivery.
Financial and Commercial Oversight
- Monitor contract financial performance, ensuring profitability through cost control, efficient resourcing, and budget adherence.
- Support in the preparation of contract pricing, variations, and commercial reporting.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to identify revenue opportunities and support bidding for additional work streams.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring trust and satisfaction through transparent communication and dependable service.
- Lead regular contract review meetings with clients and internal teams to discuss performance, feedback, and future planning.
- Engage with suppliers, subcontractors, and partners to ensure alignment with contract goals and PREAH’s standards.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure all contract activities are carried out in accordance with relevant legislation, health & safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate contract documentation, risk registers, and compliance records.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to contract delivery and service performance.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in Facilities Management and contract delivery, ideally within commercial or public sector environments.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing service contracts and supply chains.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a client-focused mindset.
- Knowledge of health & safety legislation, FM best practices, and contract law.
- Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and foster collaborative working relationships.
- Proficiency in contract management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Relevant qualifications in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline (IWFM certification or equivalent desirable).
