Inside Sales Executive

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Scotland’s fastest growing card companies in the payments industry selling credit and debit card services to businesses in Ireland and the UK. The role of the Telesales Executive is to identify and secure new business within our key markets by contacting potential customers to present our products and services with the necessary skills to win the business. We are looking for a highly motivated individual that can develop a strong sales pipeline and manage this on an on-going basis. You will be responsible for developing a sales plan to meet and exceed your sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop sales opportunities through inbound leads and outbound lead generation using phone, email and social networks
  • Manage lead database and identify key decision makers
  • Present product proposition to meet customer needs
  • Ownership of the sales cycle to ensure maximum value and high conversion rates
  • Planning and implementation of inbound/outbound retention campaigns
  • Managing commercial campaigns and client renewal proposals
  • Converting customer cancellations to renewals
  • To efficiently and professionally respond to all general customer service / sales support requests wherever needed
  • Managing applications and contracts through to completion with customers
  • Reporting to management team of performance against KPI’s
  • To up-sell new products and services into the existing base at every relevant opportunity thus growing overall revenues and product penetration within the customer base
  • Manage and update CRM system ensuring completeness and accuracy of relevant opportunities
  • Make a positive contribution to the wider team, overall business development and strategy
  • Meeting your individual targets.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in targeted B2B telesales
  • Proven ability to work to sales targets
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Previous experience in targeted B2B telesales including inbound and outbound calls is preferable
  • Previous experience of work in the financial services or payment processing industries would be an advantage
  • Ability to work on own initiative, and to be a contributing team player.
  • Communication skills – excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer focused and a professional attitude is essential
  • Analytical mindset; problem solver, troubleshooting
  • Excellent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and CRM skills.
