Our central services team provides centralised support to the Group. Job Summary: The provision of tax services for a portfolio of fiduciary clients which will include the completion of Income and corporation tax returns, and responding to tax queries.

Job Accountabilities:

  • The preparation of tax reporting in the Crown Dependencies and UK as required for trusts and companies.
  • Drafting communications with tax authorities and group teams regarding tax payments and returns.
  • Updating and maintaining tasks and compliance spreadsheets.
  • Preparation of tax review of accounts to aid identification of key tax risks.
  • Working with management to assist in completion of tasks for a key portfolio of clients.
  • Develop relationships within wider office teams.
  • Preparation of correspondence with settlors and beneficiaries regarding their tax reporting requirements.
  • Liaison with other departments within the group, and draft responses to tax queries from trust administrators.
  • Liaison with clients, as required.
  • Partake in delivery of training sessions for the team and wider group, under supervision of more senior members of the team.
  • To train and assist junior colleagues with queries/problems.
  • Raising discrepancies in process and flagging with management/arranging required update.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Educated to a minimum of A level standard, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
  • Part qualified preferred, but working toward relevant qualification.

Required Skills:

  • Good numeracy and computer skills.
  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude together with the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Good team player.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
