Board Director (Volunteer)
The Alliance for Gambling Reform is seeking a passionate and committed volunteer Board Director to help guide their national work preventing and reducing gambling harm.
About the Alliance
The Alliance for Gambling Reform is a national organization working to prevent and reduce gambling harm in Australia.
Role Overview
Remote (Australia wide applicants only).
Board and Committee meetings are held online via Microsoft Teams, with one in person meeting in Melbourne each year.
Applicants must be based in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Help guide the strategic direction and governance of the organisation.
- Contribute to national efforts to prevent and reduce gambling harm.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Marketing and communications expertise.
- Commitment to the mission of the Alliance.
- Prior board experience is welcome but not essential.
- Early/mid career leaders, people from culturally diverse backgrounds, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and those with lived experience of gambling harm are strongly encouraged to apply.

Approximately 4-8 hours per month. Board terms are three years, renewable once.
