We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Regional Facilities Manager to take ownership of a diverse commercial property portfolio. This is a role for someone who enjoys being on-site, solving problems, and driving standards, not just managing from behind a desk.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring our buildings are safe, compliant, well-maintained and operating to a high standard, working closely with onsite teams, contractors and internal stakeholders.

The Role

This is a fast-paced, operational role where you’ll take responsibility for facilities issues across multiple sites, from identifying problems through to making sure they’re fully resolved.

  • Take ownership of FM issues across your portfolio, assessing, prioritising and seeing them through to completion
  • Act as the key escalation point for onsite teams and coordinate with contractors and technical specialists
  • Carry out regular site visits, identifying risks, defects and opportunities for improvement
  • Oversee health & safety, fire safety and statutory compliance, ensuring actions are closed out properly
  • Manage contractors, challenging performance and ensuring work is completed to a high standard
  • Control costs, reviewing quotes, managing spend and ensuring value for money
  • Maintain accurate records via CAFM systems (Vantify or similar)
  • Provide clear updates to stakeholders on progress, risks and key issues

About You:

We’re looking for someone who takes real ownership and pride in their work, someone who spots issues early and makes sure they get fixed. You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience managing multiple commercial properties or sites (business space assets)
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety and building compliance
  • Good understanding of Hard FM / building services and contractor management
  • Experience working with service charge budgets and cost control
  • Confidence using CAFM systems
  • IOSH (minimum), with NEBOSH or IWFM qualifications desirable

What Sets This Role Apart

  • A genuinely hands-on role with autonomy and ownership
  • Exposure to a varied and active portfolio
  • Opportunity to influence standards and contractor performance
  • A business that values practical problem-solvers and accountability
  • Strong potential for development and career growth as the business continues to evolve

The Person

You’ll succeed in this role if you:

  • Take ownership and follow things through to completion
  • Act quickly when issues arise
  • Are confident challenging poor performance
  • Communicate clearly and professionally
  • Balance cost, urgency and compliance effectively

Benefits:

  • Highly competitive salary DOE
  • Discretionary bonus scheme
  • 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays
  • Additional holiday with service
  • Private Medical Insurance (medical history disregarded)
  • Annual Dental benefit inclusive of two appointments per year
  • Healthcare Cash Plan
  • 5% Company pension contribution
  • 3x Life Assurance
  • Cycle to work scheme (on-site shower room facilities & bike parking in majority of head offices)
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Group income protection scheme

Values

  • Professionalism | We consistently seek to exceed expectations. Our people can express themselves fully while upholding the highest standards of conduct, competence, and integrity.
  • Ownership | Every asset, challenge, and opportunity is treated as our own. We deliver all real estate services in-house — never outsourcing responsibility, accountability, or blame.
  • Entrepreneurialism | We challenge convention and champion imaginative solutions. Rigorous debate is encouraged, and everyone is empowered to make decisions that elevate performance.
  • Meritocracy | Results, hard work, and strong ideas matter more than age, tenure, or titles. We are a diverse team that collaborates openly so each person can reach their full potential.
  • Action This Day | We do not defer or delay. Anything that can be done today, is done today.
