Purpose of the role:
To drive cost efficiency and best practice procurement together with performance management of key suppliers across the portfolio in line with the requirements of the RICS, ISO and the Praxis Sustainability blueprint.
To play a key role in the PM Leadership team.
Location: London Knightsbridge – with Nationwide responsibility.

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Procurement Manager to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring a consistent, strategic, and effective approach to procurement across our portfolio, working collaboratively with Facilities Management (FM), Property Managers, and Asset Managers.
You will be responsible for optimizing procurement processes, leveraging portfolio scale to maximize value, and building strong relationships with suppliers to drive performance and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify existing spend and procurement arrangements across the portfolio, maintaining a comprehensive master list for key expenditure categories.
- Investigate market options for local, regional, and national suppliers, providing recommendations on the best route to market.
- Manage tender processes to leverage portfolio scale, ensuring optimal pricing and supplier engagement.
- Liaise with the supply chain to obtain quotes and support onboarding for new assets and management instructions.
- Define, measure, and oversee performance management of the supply chain, including Praxis Facility Management.
- Develop and deliver management information with supply chain input, supporting stakeholder reporting and ESG measurement.
- Identify cost savings and potential new revenue streams across the portfolio.
- Act as the primary point of contact for infrastructure improvements related to utility measurement and recharging across the portfolio.
- Lead the ISO certification process and manage amendments to the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Collaborate with the Property Management Leadership team to oversee delivery of day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with department KPIs.
Skills and Competencies:
Given the seniority of this position, we are ideally seeking candidates with 10+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably at Director level, within the real estate sector. Experience with a similar organisation comparable to Praxis Group is highly desirable with a Landlord focus.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks daily while planning for long-term projects and meeting KPI deadlines.
- Strong adherence to RICS standards, demonstrating diligence and perseverance in managing procurement-related activities.
- Financially literate with the ability to align procurement strategies with the business plans and financial objectives of managed assets.
- Proven ability to engage effectively with stakeholders, including senior leadership, suppliers, tenants, and internal teams.
- A problem-solving mindset with a passion for designing and implementing practical, innovative solutions.
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach, with a willingness to share knowledge and contribute to the professional growth of peers and teams.
