Job Summary

To support the administration teams with regards to ensuring that Praxis Trust (BVI) Limited remains compliant with all BVI regulatory obligations.

  • Job Accountabilities
  • Ensuring that statutory records are kept up-to-date and are accurate at all times
  • Performing annual regulatory reviews of all entities
  • Liaising with the BVI Financial Services and other competent bodies in relation to the submission and filing of all regulatory matters for clients and in-house entities
  • Ensuring all regulatory deadlines are met in a timely manner
  • Maintaining appropriate records of all submissions made
  • Ensuring clients are advised of all regulatory timelines
  • Ensuring all filing requirements for ES, CRS and FATCA are adhered to
  • Ensure relevant classifications and updates are on file
  • Support the technological Remedial Project
  • Stay up to date with changes in legislative and professional standards that impact our regulatory obligations
  • Liaising with respective departments regarding accounting and taxation issues
  • Liaising with clients and intermediaries both by telephone and in writing
  • May assist more junior staff with queries/problems
  • Minimum Education and Experience
  • A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience during which own portfolio of clients has been managed
  • A relevant professional qualification
  • Required Skills
  • Comprehensive Knowledge of the governing legislations
  • Comprehensive knowledge of new ES platform on VIRRGIN
  • Proven track record in handling complex matters
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Sound judgement
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Sound Knowledge of compliance issues and regulatory framework within which Praxis BVI operates.
