About the role: We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Building / Estates Manager to take ownership of Limelight, a Grade A office scheme comprising three interconnected buildings and an underground car park. With an on-site café, gym, business lounge and shower facilities, this is a high-quality destination where the tenant experience really matters. You’ll be the visible presence on site, responsible for ensuring the estate is safe, well maintained and operating to a consistently high standard. You’ll work closely with tenants, contractors and internal teams, solving issues quickly and making sure things are followed through.
The opportunity: This is more than a reactive building management role. We’re looking for someone who can bring ideas and improve the way the site operates, particularly around ESG, sustainability and tenant engagement.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Managing day-to-day building operations, inspections and maintenance.
- Building strong relationships with tenants and responding to queries.
- Coordinating and challenging contractors to maintain high standards.
- Supporting health, safety and statutory compliance.
- Identifying defects, risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinating works, projects, access and contractor activity.
- Maintaining accurate site records and reporting.
- Supporting tenant events, communications and occupier initiatives.
About you: You’ll ideally have experience in building management, facilities, front of house or another customer-facing operational environment, with:
- Practical understanding of building operations and maintenance.
- Experience coordinating contractors and site activity.
- Good awareness of health & safety and compliance.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- The confidence to take ownership, challenge standards and resolve issues.
Most importantly, you’ll take pride in your building, act quickly and take ownership when things go wrong and care about delivering a great experience for tenants.
