We’re seeking an experienced Head of Security to lead and embed a comprehensive, future-ready security strategy across our national commercial and retail property portfolio. This high-impact brand new role will shape security governance, performance, and culture across diverse assets—from shopping centres to office parks—while driving continuous improvement, innovation, and resilience.
You’ll own internal security policies, ensure compliance with ACS and other accreditations, and engage with stakeholders across FM, asset management, and third-party clients. As we continue to grow, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our systems, frameworks, and talent are ready to support new mandates and scalable delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Security Leadership
- Develop and implement portfolio-wide security risk strategies
- Produce risk reports and board-level performance updates
- Lead on business continuity and incident contingency planning
- Build scalable frameworks to support portfolio and third-party growth
- Policy, Compliance & Accreditation
- Create and manage internal policies aligned with legislation and standards
- Lead compliance with ACS and other frameworks
- Audit security practices and advise in client pitches
- Benchmark internal standards against market norms
- Operational Oversight
- Design and deliver high-performing, cost-effective security services
- Oversee day-to-day operations across all asset types
- Lead and mentor security teams with a focus on professionalism and accountability
- Work closely with property and FM teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Technology & Innovation
- Evaluate and implement emerging security technologies
- Drive AI, surveillance, access control, and analytics innovation

Required Skills & Experience
- 15+ years’ experience in senior security roles within property, FM, or similarly complex environments
- Strong knowledge of multi-site asset protection, particularly in retail, office, and public realm settings
- Demonstrable experience managing ACS accreditation and security compliance frameworks
- Commercially minded, with a clear understanding of how security contributes to business success and client satisfaction
- Excellent leadership, crisis management, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of digital security solutions, physical-cyber convergence, and threat management
- Relevant qualifications in security and/or risk management
