Whats the Role:Support Worker What It Takes: An important part of the staff role is to support the needs of individuals through the ethos and values of Praxis Care. So the ability to be resilient, to communicate effectively and to utilise a variety of communication tools is essential. Our dedicated staff team support our individuals to learn and develop their skills to aid in their independence. Each staff member has something to bring to the role and we encourage staff to use their humour and sense of fun and creativity in supporting our individuals with day to day life. Where You Would Work:Cliftonville Road, Belfast As part of our team at Cliftonville Road you will be supporting young adults with moderate Learning Difficulties in their day to day activities. The People we Support at Cliftonville are mostly independent and receive support in the continued development of their independence skills, with access to nearby community services and locations. In addition to off-site social activities, frequent activities take place on-site, including arts, crafts and cookery evenings. The support at Cliftonville Road is tailored to the specific needs of the individual and includes cooking and cleaning support, financial management, support with medications and attending medical appointments, as required.
