We can consider a range of different working patterns, including full time, part time and relief. All advertised salaries are based on 39 hours (FTE) and will be pro rata to contracted hours.

About The Role

Key Accountabilities:
  • Support and empower individuals to develop or improve independent living skills as identified in person-centred plans, including assistance with domestic or social skills and personal care.
  • Work closely with Team Leaders and managers to prepare and implement individual and group support programmes.
  • Collaborate with other Support Workers and Team Leaders to promote a safe working and living environment, effectively resolving situations arising from conflict or challenging behaviours using appropriate techniques and language.
  • Ensure that medication is stored and administered in accordance with Praxis Care's Medication Policy where necessary.
  • Familiarize yourself with all administrative requirements of the service, ensuring relevant and important information is recorded and logged according to the service's reporting guidelines.
  • Be fully aware of all policies and procedures in place within the service.
