As a Domestic Cleaner, you will be responsible for the day-to-day cleaning of internal areas, both within the office setting and external areas. You will also be responsible for your own and the building's security when accessing relevant areas.
Key Accountabilities:
- To clean specified internal areas following a cleaning schedule, including office areas, kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, communal and circulation areas, as well as internal windows.
- To replenish hygiene consumables and advise management if stocks need replenishing.
- To keep the immediate external area tidy.
- To be aware of all policies and procedures in place within the service, ensuring attendance and participation at all related training.
Requirements of the Role:
- Participate in the company performance and staff review process.
- Adhere to and model the company values, behaviours, and competencies at all times.
- Carry out all duties in accordance with Praxis rules, regulations, and policies.
- Rotational weekend working is a requirement of this post.
- The duties mentioned are not exhaustive, and the post holder may be required to carry out other duties as necessary.
Criteria:
- Essential: Willingness to train in health and safety, COSHH, Infection Control, Fire Safety and Awareness.
- Desirable: 6 months experience of cleaning in a commercial or office environment.
Skills & Competencies:
- Full Driving Licence and access to transport.
- Ability to read and understand health & safety data sheets and COSHH assessments.
- Understanding of the importance of good hygiene.
Attributes:
- Ability to use own initiative and work within a small team.
- Ability to identify hazards and take action.
