As a Domestic Cleaner, you will be responsible for the day-to-day cleaning of internal areas, both within the office setting and office areas. You will also be responsible for keeping the immediate external areas clean and safe. Additionally, you will be required to ensure your own and the building's security when accessing relevant areas.
Your duties will include:
- Cleaning specified internal areas following a cleaning schedule, which will include office areas, kitchens, shower/bathrooms/toilets, bedrooms, communal and circulation areas, as well as internal windows.
- Replenishing hygiene consumables, e.g. paper towels, toilet roll, soap, etc.
- Sweeping and generally keeping the immediate external area tidy.
- Being fully aware of all policies and procedures in place within the service (including Health & Safety), ensuring attendance and participation at all related training.
Requirements of the Role:
- Participate in the company performance and staff review process.
- Adhere to and model the company values, behaviours and competencies at all times.
- Carry out all duties of the post in accordance with Praxis rules, regulations and policies.
- Carry out additional duties of the role as necessary.
- Rotational weekend working is a requirement of this post.
Criteria:
- Essential: Willingness to train in health and safety, COSHH, Infection Control, Fire Safety and Awareness.
- Desirable: 6 months experience of cleaning in a commercial or office environment or similar role.
Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to read and understand health & safety data sheets, COSHH assessments and product labels.
- Understanding of the importance of good hygiene.
- Ability to use own initiative and work within a small team.
- Ability to identify hazards and take action.
Required Criteria:
- Right to Work in the UK.
- Full Driving Licence.
Desired Criteria:
