As a Domestic Cleaner, you will be responsible for the day-to-day cleaning of internal areas, both within the office setting and office areas. You will also be responsible for keeping the immediate external areas clean and safe. Additionally, you will need to ensure the security of the building when accessing relevant areas.
Your duties will include:
- Cleaning specified internal areas following a cleaning schedule, which will be planned around your working hours. This includes office areas, kitchens, shower/bathrooms/toilets, bedrooms, communal and circulation areas, as well as internal windows.
- Replenishing hygiene consumables, e.g. paper towels, toilet roll, soap, etc.
- Keeping the immediate external area in front of the building tidy.
- Being fully aware of all policies and procedures in place within the service (including Health & Safety), ensuring attendance and participation at all related training.
Requirements of the Role:
- Participation in the company performance and staff review process.
- Adhering to and modelling the company values, behaviours, and competencies at all times.
- Carrying out all duties in accordance with Praxis rules, regulations, and policies.
- Rotational weekend working is a requirement of this post.
- The above-mentioned duties are not exhaustive, and you may be required to carry out other duties as necessary.
Criteria:
- Education, Experience & Training Qualifications:
- Essential: Willingness to train in health and safety, COSHH, Infection Control, Fire Safety and Awareness.
- Desirable: 6 months experience of cleaning in a commercial or office environment or similar role.
Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to read and understand health & safety data sheets, COSHH assessments, and product labels.
- Understanding of the importance of good hygiene.
- Ability to use own initiative and work within a small team.
- Ability to identify hazards and take action.
Required Criteria:
- Right to Work in the UK.
- Full Driving Licence.
Desired Criteria:
- Ability to read and understand health & safety data sheets.
- Awareness of safe working practices.
