Work Culture

  • 37 hour working week, although hours may vary depending on role, job requirement or site‑specific arrangements.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Produce engaging articulate storyline builds for our customer's training courses in accordance with Courseware / Media production process, Development Manual and Style Guide.
  • Creation of courses exploiting effective asset management and workflow.
  • Visualise and plan content and media along a timeline.
  • Comply with Raytheon and Customer policies.
  • Carry out any other reasonable task such as assisting other areas within Raytheon when required.
  • Champion and foster a culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Support health and safety responsibilities for colleagues and customers.
  • Help with flexible training requiring travel to other sites within the UK.
  • Perform any other duties required to complete the CMDC Training Service.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Design, develop, and implement training solutions within Articulate Storyline that enhance learner engagement.
  • Apply instructional design theories and adult learning principles to create high‑quality learning experiences.
  • Ensure instructional materials align with best practices and internal quality standards.
  • Organised and able to work well both independently and in a fast‑paced team environment.
  • Ability to comprehend/interpret technical and non‑technical information and apply it to visual media and animations.
  • Multi‑task and work on multiple projects in a deadline‑oriented environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Ability to lead and motivate team members.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders outside the CMDC team to gather technical information necessary for media requirements.
  • Must be eligible to qualify for SC security clearance.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience using Moodle or working with an LMS.
  • Previous experience developing high‑quality courses for digital learning & training.
  • Creation of animation sequences exploiting effective asset management and workflow.
  • Knowledge of Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT).
