Summary of Role
Raytheon UK is seeking a dynamic, driven, inspirational and experienced Programme Director to lead the successful delivery of a strategically important contract within the Military Land Training domain.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and successfully deliver all contractual requirements within agreed budgets, schedules and performance standards.
- Establish and maintain programme governance, risk management, reporting and control frameworks to ensure successful programme execution.
- Promote Programme Management excellence (PMX) best practice and lead by example to instill a culture of flawless programme execution, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular governance engagements to assure delivery and programme success.
- Develop, coach and mentor programme team members.
- Develop collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders within the customer, strategic partners and suppliers.
- Act as a subject matter expert for programme execution.
- Actively contribute to development of knowledge and skills across Raytheon UK PMX function.
Qualifications
- Successful track record in delivering complex programmes, preferably for a prime contractor and including systems integration.
- Experienced working within partnering environments in a prime contractor role alongside the customer and other contract delivery contractors.
- Experienced leading large multi‑disciplined teams over geographically dispersed sites.
- Track record of delivering business transformation through innovation, continuous improvement and introduction of new technologies and processes.
- Strong commercial, financial and performance management skills commensurate with delivery of large complex projects.
- Experienced user of industry standard project management tools, techniques and methodologies (ideally in a defence context).
- Current holder of, or eligibility to obtain, SC MOD security clearance.
- Must be UK nationals and resident in the UK.
