Hybrid role based in Warminster, Wiltshire. Will be working with the Raytheon UK Enterprise Performance Group (EPG) supporting the OMNIA Training Team, which transforms the British Army’s collective training.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and validate the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), ensuring logical linkage of activities, milestones, and fiscal alignment.
  • Lead and support schedule development through the programme lifecycle.
  • Analyse trend data and provide programme metrics to the Programme Manager and Control Account Managers; present at metrics review boards and customer meetings.
  • Ensure contractual and baseline control processes are followed and that change records are auditable.
  • Generate and analyse earned‑value management (EVM) data, perform root‑cause analysis of earned‑value variances, and present findings to the Programme Leadership Team.
  • Conduct critical path, schedule risk, and BEI analyses as required.
  • Collate and analyse finance data, including schedule‐derived Estimates To Complete (ETCs).
  • Support development of Programme Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Organisational Breakdown Structures (OBS).
  • Assist bid and proposal activities by creating schedule scenarios for impact analysis.
  • Participate in the Programme Risk & Opportunity Management Process; document risks, track mitigation plans, and integrate risk information into the IMS.
  • Create customised reporting in PowerBI to balance standard tools with innovative visualisations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a project/programme controls environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project (EPM 2010/13/16) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, PowerBI).
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills across all levels of the business.
  • Experience coaching junior professionals and leading schedule integration work.
  • Commercial awareness and familiarity with complex project environments.
  • Experience with multi‑disciplined, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Current holder of or eligibility for an SCMoD security clearance.
  • Practical knowledge of IMS and EVM integration.
  • Hands‑on PowerBI experience: report creation, query troubleshooting, and user requirement analysis.
  • Preferred: experience in the defence industry or working with training transformation programmes.
