Raytheon UK has an excellent opportunity for a Subcontracts Manager to join our team in Gloucester or Manchester, on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
This is a unique opportunity to step into a Subcontracts Manager role leading execution and innovative commercial solutions across Cyber & Intelligence and Space & ISR.
Reporting directly to the Senior Manager (Contracts & Subcontracts), you will influence mission-critical outcomes while collaborating with cross-functional teams at the forefront of national security.
Our teams here provide Dev Sec Ops at scale, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, cyber and geospatial intelligence capabilities to support the defence, intelligence and cyber sectors.
Collaborating with customers and suppliers to deliver secure, mission critical systems using the latest technologies and innovations.
Responsibilities
- Enable the business to bid for and meet customer expectations though the use of subcontract capability and resource.
- Enable subcontractor Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to contribute to delivery of customer solutions and objectives.
- Manage Subcontractors / Suppliers with autonomy and accountability for delivery, ensuring quality and consistency in execution and alignment with business objectives.
- Participate in development of supplier Statements of Work (SOW) with Engineering and Programme.
- Manage and Negotiate contracts, sub-contracts, non-disclosure agreements and terms and conditions.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers, to align on policies, practices, and procedures.
- Manage all costs, quality, schedule, financial and technical performance requirements that are levied on the subcontractor or the product family and which are required to ensure performance and support of the contract milestones of the system.
- Works with suppliers and other stakeholders to achieve collaborative partnering and strategic relationship management to deliver value for the organisation.
- Apply advanced knowledge of subcontracting practices to evaluate challenges faced by the programme(s)/organisation and the supply chains, taking action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities, as well as solving complex problems across multiple work areas.
